1997 Fender Custom Shop 56 Stratocaster in see-thru Blonde finish. This is one of those legendary “Cunetto era” guitars, that have been aged by Vince Cunetto who worked for Fender as freelancer and established the “Relic” series. The V-shaped neck was made by no one less than John Cruz himself and shows super nice flames. The guitar looks really authentic and has a thin lacquer coat over a beautiful ash body. It’s fairly lightweight with only 3265g. The body is dated February 21, 1997. Great sounding and playing guitar from back then when “Relic” was something special! The guitar has been refretted and two saddle screws have been replaced. Comes in original case – we have a new COA from Fender which is included!
