Super flamey 1996 Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection Les Paul 1959 Reissue. The good-wood era – in 1996 Gibson only made a very limited number of reissues and they were really special. That’s why the “early reissues” are so sought after. This one has an outstanding flametop and color! It’s in excellent condition, but it’s been played a bit at home so shows some very minor wear, a handful of dings and dongs. The lacquer is very thin, it has a nice top carve and a beautiful grained mahogany body with great color. The neck is not too thick, it feels really good and the guitar has a great weight with only 3980g. Comes incl original case (no COA in 1996!).
