1992 Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus - Trans Red

What a beautiful guitar! The early 90s Les Paul Classics are something special. This is a rare example in Transluent Red (listed in the Gibson records as "Classic+ Translucent Red" but says T.Purple in the bridge pickup cavity and since it looks more like a Cherry Red finish with nice flamed maple top we call it "Translucent Red"). Its that period when Gibson was about to establish the reissue series and many Les Pauls came with really nice bookmatched 2-piece flame maple tops and went back to listen what their customers demanded. Typical slim taper neck profile and the 490R and 500T ceramic pickups and without those greenish fingerboard inlays that appeared later. Comes incl. original case.
