Super clean and all original 1987 Gibson US-1 model in Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. Not so well known and definitely underrated guitar of the wild 80s when Gibson did – as always too late – they’re own version of the super-strat. This guitar combines attributes of a couple of models in one: the neck has a Explorer style sharp edge headstock with the Flying V style logo and Ebony fretboard, the maple body with set neck construction has a two piece highly figured maple top in classic finish. The HSS pickups has individual on/of switches and the volume knob is a push/push to split the humbucker. Really great sounding guitar! Very lively with big fat distortion sounds! Pretty lightweight as well for an 80s maple body guitar. Comes incl. original case.
