1985 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Sunburst

Super clean 1985 Les Paul Standard in excellent+ condition. Actually it’s near mint but the original tuners fell apart so we put on Schaller replacements. The guitar has been professionally refretted with big jumbo frets. Also the bridge pickup ring is broken, which is pretty common since the top carving on the 80s Standards very often is really pronounced – very nice and something they lost after the late 90s. Super strong unfaded cherry sunburst, the guitar was made right before Slash made the Les Paul cool again. Great weight for that period with 4,15Kg, great tone and nice feeling neck. Comes with the sought after Shaw pickups with patent number stamped on the back and the original protector case with blue plush.
