A really special guitar… sounds as good as it looks! The 30th Anniversary Goldtops where some of the last Gibsons made in the old Kalamazoo factory. They did 3 runs, numbered A, B and C, from which the first run is considered to the best run. This guitar is from the A-run featuring low serial number A0053! The instrument has been played, so there is some nice playwear, mostly on the backside. They really did a great job in reissuing a 1957/1958 GT with small headstock, ABR bridge, small binding in cutaway, small 50s style headstock and the already legendary “Shaw” pickups. The pickups are dated 1981 and 1982 and read 7,36K(N) and 7,44K(B). The weight is 4,5Kg. Comes incl. original Gibson case.
