1981 Gibson Les Paul Standard in classic Cherry Sunburst finish in very good condition. The Humbucker equipped Les Paul Standard has been re-introduced after over 15 years of absence in the mid 70s. This guitar features the same specs as these first 2nd generation Standards – a mahogany body (one-piece) and maple neck. It has been played so there is some wear, especially belt buckle wear on the back but overall it's in great condition. The original Pat-Nr. stamped/and tared back humbuckers read bridge 7,43K and neck 7,39K. The bridge pickup has been wax-potted by a former owner to prevent feedback and the volume pot has been changed. The neck has a slimmer C-profile. The guitar is rather on the light side for a 80s Les Paul and plays and sounds great! Comes in hard case.
