Super rare 1981 Charvel San Dimas Strat in Red finish with Stripe Graphic. This is an early pre-production model from the old San Dimas plant all original and in excellent+ near mint condition. The guitar has been in a private collection for over 3 decades and in comes in its original black tolex case and invoice where it has been purchases in 1986 (No-1 Music back then was the official Charvel distributor for Germany). There is barely any play-wear, no belt-buckles rush and the original frets are still like new. The guitar has all the desired features, such as Strat-body, Strat-style headstock, 1x humbucker and the vintage brass tremolo. The factory equiped DiMarzzio humbucker has an output of hot 13,65K, the orig. DiMarzzio pot is stamped 134.81.05 which dates to 5th week of 1981, the e-cavitiy control plate is an early plastic version. The flat D-shaped neck is made of 1-piece maple and feels very comfortable, low action - fast to play! Comes in its original black Tolex Case.
