1980 Gibson Firebrand "The Paul" Deluxe - Natural Mahagony(!)
1980 Gibson Firebrand "The Paul" Deluxe in Natural finish. The Firebrand Deluxe is a upgraded version of the "The Paul" with a high-gloss finish, while the regular version came in a rather raw, satin finish. The Paul was available made of Mahagony or Walnut, this is the rare and desired Mahagony version. The guitar is in great condition, only very minor playwear, dings and dongs but no breaks or hidden repairs except for a plugged hole from a old mini-switch. The Pickups have been upgraded to Seymour Duncan SH1 ´(Model ´59) humbucker pickups and the pots have been changed to 4x selected Gibson 500K pots, which was an big improvement to this guitar. Real fun player and great tone !!! Comes in black Les Paul hardshell case.
