1979 Gibson ES-335 CRS – Sunburst

Super clean and rare 1979 Gibson ES-335 CRS in Sunburst finish in excellent+ condition. “CRS” stands for “Country Rock Stereo” and was a hot-rodded version of the regular ES-335 equipped with 2x original Gibson “Super humbucker” which can be split to singlecoils, creme plastic parts, a TP-6 fine-tuning tailpiece, Grover machine-heads and Stereo-function. The guitar was built in a limited run of only 300 models, is all original. The finish ist nice and shiny, there is only very minor playwear, mostly in the lower cutaway. The original frets are still in perfect shape, the medium size C-shaped neck is very comfortbale to play. The two original Gibson “Super humbuckers” can be split by a aditional coil-tab switch, which makes that ES-335 a very versatile instrument, with several aditional sound variations. Comes in its original Gibson black hardshell case w/red interior
