From the original owner who bought it new at the Drapers Music Store in Palo Alto California before he went to see the Jerry Garcia Band at the Keystone and brought it to Germany in the late 70s: All original 1977 Travis Bean TB 1000S Standard in excellent condition! What a great guitar! Classic design – the Travis Bean is already a legend in guitar history with it aluminum neck construction. Those guitars were perfect slide guitars and were used by greats as Jerry Garcia, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Joe Perry and Slash. The neck of this wonderful example is straight, it plays and sounds amazing. It’s also lightweight especially considering the fact it has an aluminum neck. Of course untouched, the original owner witnessed us opening the electronic cavity backplate for the first time! Comes incl. original case, warranty card and maintenance instruction.
