1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Ebony / Maple Fretboard!
1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Ebony / Maple Fretboard!
Ultra rare and desirable 1977 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony with maple(!) fretboard! Maple fretboard was an option available in 1977-1979 with only 467 guitars shipped in 1977. The maple fretboard gives a brighter tone and much more attack, the crunch and sustain are massive! Maple - fretboard Les Pauls became famous when no other than Zakk Wylde choosed themas his favorite weapon and still used them today. The guitar is all original and in good condition, it has been played extensively so it enjoyed a new fretjob and has some playwear and plenty of belt-buckle rush on the backside. The Pickups are the original Pat.Nr."T-Tops" whith outputs of 7,62K (Neck) and 7,76K (Bridge), the weight is definately light for a LP Custom with only 4,5 Kg! Comfortable neck and great playability. Definately built to Rock !!! Incl. orig. Gibson hardshell case with purple lining.
