1977 Gibson Dove Custom - Ebony

Rare and super cool 1977 Gibson Dove Custom in Ebony finish. The guitar is all original and in very good condition. The guitar has been played, so there is some visible playwear and two lacquer cracks that move from the neck joint to the sound hole on the top - our luthier did a proper neck reset and it's rock-solid. The dreadnought body is made of maple with a solid spruce top. The neck is also made of maple and has a medium sized c-shape profile, very comfortable to play. Great tone, loud with some good basses, but never muddy. The action is nice as well. Comes in orig. black Gibson hardshell case w/purple lining.
