1974 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop …rare !!!
Super rare 1974 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop, all original and in excellent condition! 1974 was the first year for the Les Paul Standard to come out with humbucking pickups since it was discontinued in 1960, usually in Sunburst finish, this is a super rare factory Goldtop! This is the “real deal”, not a routed Deluxe! These early 70s Standards are very rare, as they have been available by special order only, until their regular reintroduction 2 years later in 1976. The guitar is in excellent+ / near mint condition, barely any visible play-wear, no weatherchecking, no belt-buckles rush, the original frets are still in perfect shape. The medim sized C-shape neck which is comfortable to play and the 2x original Gibson “Pat.Nr.” humbucking (Sticker!) pickups with well balanced outputs of 7.79K(N) and 7.98K(B). Original untouched electronics with four pots stamped 137.74.21 dating them to 21st week of 1974, the original Kluson “Double-ring” tuners have never been changed and still work fine. There is a tiny repair on the beck of the headstock where the wing laminate separated and glued back but it’s nothing structural. Comes inclusive Gibson Owners Manual and orig. black Gibson case with violet interior.
