1974 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty – Ebony

This is a cool one: well played with some authentic battle scars. Really nice example of a Black Beauty Les Paul Custom with the desired early 70s specs: ABR bridge mounted directly into the top and of course the mahogany neck. A few changed parts which would be normal for a guitar that has been played and doesn’t have a big effect on its value: it has a newer output jack plate and added bumblebee capacitors (one repro and one even vintage). It’s been refretted and has a new nut. There are some topuch ups on the back of the neck. Other than that it’s in original condition. The pickups are two patent stamped T-tops – covers have never been off. There is a big dent in the finish and wood on the upper rim above the toggle and play wear all over but besides that its still relatively clean – actually just right to give you that vintage vibe and feel. The early 70s Les Paul Customs have their own character and have rightfully have a permanent place in the vintage hall of fame. Comes incl. original case with purple plush.
