Near mint condition 1972 Marshall JMP 50 Watt Stock No 1987 Lead Head & 8×10 2034 Cabinet in super rare Red tolex! The amp is all original except the original Bulgin Pignose mains cable plug has been changed to a more modern one for security reasons. According to Marshall guru Tom Doyle this is amongst the best sounding Marshall heads ever build since it delivers a super creamy overdrive distortion when cranked up! Think of Free “All right now” or early AC/DC recordings! The amp still has the lay-down mains transformer from the 60s. The amp has been fully srviced by out tech and works 100% fine. The matching 2034 8×10″ Cabinet is ultra rare as it is a different size (wider) version of the 810 cabinet to accomodate the bigger JMP 50 Head (not to mix up with the earlier Stock No 1990 8×10 Cabinet which matched the smaller JMP 50 Cab made until End of 1971). These Cabs were only in production from 1970 until around 1973 and a heavy duty Version with 120 Watts! Your chance the snag a fine collectors rig that also sounds as awesome as it looks!
