1972 Gibson SG Professional – Cherry
Rare and short-lived 1972 Gibson SG Special in Cherry finish with 2x original Gibson P-90 pickups. The guitar has been played and underwent some surgery during his live: there is a old headstock-repair and the neck had been reglued once, also there is some visible play-wear because the guitar has been used. If you don´t mind the repairs, which are sturdy and safe, you get a nice vintage player which has quiet some mojo and sounds great! The complete electronic is all original, the 4 pots are stamped 137.72.06, dating them to 6th week of 1972, the two Gibson P-90 "Soap-Bar" P-90 pickups have the "Gibson-embossed" PU-covers they only featured in 1972. The Gibson-branded Bigsby B5 Tremolo also is a factory option and can only be found on instruments made in 1971/72. Affordable 70s SG, comfortable to play and great sounding! Comes in a black SG hardshell case!
