1972 Gibson ES-335 TDW – Walnut

Super clean 1972 Gibson ES-335 TD in Walnut finish. The guitar is all original and in excellent condition. Typical for 1971/72 it has the embossed Gibson logo pickup covers (we don’t know why the embossed bridge pickup is upside down). The Walnut finish faded to a lighter hue, leaving the typical shadows under the hardware and plastic parts. It still has the mahogany neck and the ABR bridge mounted directly into the top. Cool guitar, the early 70s models became very desired after the mid-late 60s models skyrocketed in price. No wonder – those guitars are the last with the mahogany neck until Gibson switched to maple in 1975. Guitar comes in original mid/late 1970s Gibson case.
