1970s Univox Hi-Flier Phase II – Black

Super cool ca. mid 70s Univox Hi Flyer Phase II in Black finish, all original (besides new tremolo bar) and in great condition. The Univox Hi-Flyer guitars were introduced in 1968 and where some of the most remarkable guitars of the MIJ “law-suit” era. In the 1990s Grunge aera, Univox models became famous, because they were some of Kurt Cobain’s favourite guitars, he kept playing Hi-Fliers well into the ‘In Utero’ phase and last tour. We purchased this guitar from Kurt’s favorite dealer in Tacoma who sold a whole bunch of these to Kurt himself – ain’t that cool? The pickups are really hot, playability is great with low actions. Well adjusted and ready to “grunge”! Comes in black hardshell case.
