1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom Ebony – great player & lightweight!
Ca. 1970 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Player's condition. The guitar has no volute and no "Made in USA" stamp so we assume it's an early 1970 model. It's a great sounding Custom that's lightweight with only 4,2kg. The original Ebony color has been oversprayed on the back of the neck and most parts of the body but there is already some nice weather checking visible.. We can't see any breaks or damages, the front of the headstock blacklights perfect). The hardware and electronics have been replaced with high quality reissue parts (Gibson ABR-1 and Aluminum stoptail) and the pickups are Seymour Duncan SH-4 and SH-1. The guitar has also been refretted with big frets that play like butter. It's a great sounding and playing guitar that beats any newer Custom for sure. Great chance to get old wood and especially a super cool pre-75 spec model for Custom Shop money. Comes in aftermarket case.
