1970 Fender Stratocaster - Sunburst

We love stories like this - and it's not often that you find guitars like this in Europe: We got this 1970 Strat from it's original owner who received it as present from his father when he received his "Certificate of apprenticeship" in 1970. Since this day it was his main axe and he played constantly for over 50 years. Of course there are some small things that had to be changed during service in this long time of playing it: One pot, the switch including switch tip and the output jack are newer - which is actually no big thing at all. Our luthier refretted the guitar with 6105 frets - so it's ready to go on stage again! Everything else is original! The guitar sounds really good, the whole body vibrates when you strum a chord. It's got a nice big neck profile and still has the pearl pickguard and all three pickups are dated to 1970. Really a great instrument that's also a great future investment! Comes incl. non original case.
