1969 Laney Soupergroup MK1 – 100 Watt + 2 4×12" Cabs / AEG EL34 tubes !!!

From the original owner in outstanding, – near mint condition: 1969 Laney Soupergroup MK1 – 100 Watt Tube amplifier plus 2 matching 4×12" Cabinets. All three items are in excellent+ condition and all original. The two cabinets are equipped with 8x 12" Goodman speakers, two of them need to be reconed and have been replaced with two Celestion speakers (the two extra Goodmans are included). Sounds like an Marshall Plexi but with a bit more gain! You nail pretty much the early Black Sabbath Sound. Rumour goes, that the Laney Soupergroup has been born on request by Tomi Iommy, who wanted the Plexi-Sound but refused to play Marshall amps(?). Fact is, that this Laney is pretty much a copy of a late 60´s Marshall using Partridge transformers. All 4 powertubes are original AEG Telefunken EL-34s, the 3 tubes in the front-end have been renewed with 3x TADs. The amp is well adjusted and sounds great!  (More pics available on request). The amplifiers, as well as both cabinets come with heavy-duty protection covers!
