Exceptionally clean early 1969 Gibson SG Standard “Batwing”-Guard in excellent condition. All original down to the last screw. Still vibrant Cherry finish, 68 specs: one piece mahogany neck with long neck tenon (no dowels). Late 1968 pot dates and patent sticker pickups with Phillips screws. The only hint for 1969 is the missing i-dot in the Gibson logo. Super nice guitar, a true classic in guitar history. Very clean, some dings and dongs and some missing paint on the bottom (see pics). No breaks or hidden repairs. The guitar comes incl. original case. Great investment and addition to any serious collection – but also just an amazing sounding and playing SG!
