1969 Gibson SG Custom - Walnut

Clean 1969 Gibson SG Custom in Walnut finish in very good condition that has been converted to SG Standard specs. The middle pickup has been removed and a peroid correct black Gibson pickguard has been installed long ago - this mod makes it a much better player than the 3-pickup version. You get the soiund of the Ebony fretboad with the playability of a Standard. This instrument has been played and loved, so there is some playwear and some weather-checking and the goldplating of the hardware shows some wear, but the guitar has no(!) cracks or hidden repairs. The 2x original Gibson Pat.Nr.- sticker humbucker pickups have strong outputs, all solderpoints are original - besides the middle pickup has been cut off(!), the pots are coded 137.69.02 = 2nd week of 1969. The neck has a nice and comfortable medium C-shape, still early version with no volute and no "Made in USA" on back of headstock. Nice lightweight = 3,47 Kg!  Incl. original black Gibson hardshell case with yellow interieur (personalized by it's former owner).
