1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop

Rare 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop in great condition. This is a very early 1969 Goldtop, probably built in late 1968, as it still has the sought-after and super rare 1968 features, such as 1-piece body and 1-piece neck without a volute, small headstock and long neck tenon. The guitar has been played and has a great vintage vibe a lot’s of mojo. It has an old headstock repair which is clearly visible since there are no oversprays. Besides one replaced pot (neck pickup tone – the other pots are untouched and are stamped 137.68.50 dating them to 50th week of 1968) it’s all original with original hardware and P90 pickups. The 68/69 Standards scream and have a great output and rich harmonics. Nice round neck profile with a great feel and playability and great low action. It has the typical 68/69 Les Paul weight with 4,5kg. Comes incl. original 68 black Gibson square case with yellow interior.
