1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Ebony ...all 68 features!
Clean, early 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom - Ebony in excellent condition for its age. The guitar is original, no mods, never had Schallers. Some minor playwear mostly on the backside and the usual fading of the golden hardware, the original finish dosn´t even show weather-checking! It features all the desirable features of the 1968 Les Paul Custom, such as: 1-piece body, 1-piece neck, long neck-tennon (body and neck!), 2 well-balanced Pat.-Nr. sticker humbucking pickups with outputs of 7,22K and 7,24K, all untouched solderjoints, the 4 pots are stamped 137.68.28 (28th week of 1968). The original Kluson "Waffleback-tuners" work fine and stay in tune, there is a repaired crack going from the E-tuner to the outside of the headstock. The original frets are still in super shape, great action - no buzzing. Medium sized neck and a killer weight of only 4,14(!) Kg make this one a real joy to play. Comes including the orig. black Gibson hardshell case with yellow lining.
