Here we have an outstanding clean, early 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom – Ebony in excellent condition. The guitar is all original, no mods, no repairs, the original finish dosn´t even show weather-checking! Some minor playwear and a ding in the backside of the neck, propably from a capo. It features all the desirable features of the 1968 Custom, such as: 1-piece body, 1-piece neck, long neck-tennon (body and neck!), Pat.-Nr. sticker humbucking pickups, all untouched solderjoints, the 4 potcodes are dated 52nd week of 1968, the orig. bumble-bee caps are original to the guitar, as we couldn´t see any of the solderjoints broken.The original Kluson “Waffleback-tuners” work fine and stay in tune, the origina frets are still in super shape, great action – no buzzing. Comes including the orig. black Gibson hardshell case with yellow lining and all kind of case candy.
