Late 1969 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, all original and in excellent condition. Besides some wear on the neck the guitar is very clean – it’s a late 1969 model with 3-piece body and neck and a small volute but still without “Made in USA” logo and the 560s Gibson logo with missing i-dot. Basically the last transition model between the 60s and 70s with a nice full neck profile, nylon patent number ABR, lightweight stoptail piece and nice deeper top carving which completely got lost by the early/mid 70s. Really great sounding example with great look & feel. It also still has the old lacquer formula that looks more piano black. In the early 70s the black changed to a smoother look. Comes incl. original Gibson square case with yellow plus.
