1969 Gibson Johnny Smith JSDN Dual Pickup – Natural…near mint

Super rare Natural finished dual pickup version of the Johnny Smith Archtop. Between 1963 and 1970 Gibson produced only 55 dual pickup versions of the Johnny Smith model and only 17 have been finished in Natural! This is one of those 17 guitars and it’s in near mint condition. The Johnny Smith model was introduced in 1961 as single pickup and later in 1963 as dual pickup version. The complete electronics is mounted on the pickguard. It features a 17″ body with venetian cutaway, solid carved spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. The scale length is 25″, the 3-piece maple neck has an ebony fretboard. The guitar is in absolutely stunning condition, there is minimal play wear and some oxidation/worn off gold plating- otherwise it’s close to mint. Comes incl. original case and cable.
