1969 Gibson Crest Gold
Art.Nr. Vi69GiCrest911571
Super rare 1969 Gibson Crest Gold in excellent condition. We purchased this guitar from a collector who owned it for many years. It’s one of only 172 guitars that have been built between 1969 – 1972. The guitar has been available with Silver or Gold hardware, Gold has only been available until 1971. The construction is somewhere between a ES-355 and a ES-330 hollowbody with no center block and two pickuard-mounted floating mini-humbuckers. The laminated body, fingerboard, pickguard laminate and trapez tailpiece insert are entirely made of Brazilian rosewood. Although the guitar is a true collector’s item, it’s a great playing and sounding instrument with a 42mm nut width and nice full neck profile. Comes incl. original case.
