1969 Fender Telecaster Thinline – Mahogany Natural

1969 Fender Thinline Telecaster in Natural finish with rare mahogany body. The guitar is all original and in excellent condition. There is a small crack next to the upper F-hole but it doesn’t go through the top. Besides that and some minor dings and dongs is barely any visible play-wear and the original frets are in great condition. This is the first series of the Fender Telecaster Thinline and one of the super rare models that came with a mahogany body instead of the more common ash body. Lightweight with only 3085g, very resonant and twangy even unplugged. The pickups have outputs of 6,37 (B) and 5,66 (N). The neck has a very comfortable medium size D-shape with the desired “maple-cap” fretboard and dates 3MAY69B. The two pots are dated 304.66.12/44. We don’t see these often and they’re sought after – great future investment. Comes in its original black fender Tolex case with orange interior.
