1969 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red

Rare 1969 Fender Stratocaster in custom color Candy Apple Red, all original and in excellent+ condition. It’s all original with untouched solder joints and has no changed parts. Besides some minor dings and dongs the guitar is completely clean – even the back of the neck looks like new! The rosewood fretboard has a beautiful dark brown color and the Candy Apple Red finish looks amazing with the gold undercoat – a lot warmer than the ones with the silver undercoat! One of the last of the 60s Strats from the “Hendrix era” with 4-bolt neck construction. It’s got the grey-bottom pickups and steel block tremolo with the “Fender / Pat.pend.”-stamped steel saddles. The complete electronic is all original, all 3 pots are stamped 137.66.18, dating them to 18th week of 1966, the neck stamp reads 22 JUN 69 B. It’s got a good weight with 3520g. The pickups read 5.48K(B), 5,79K(M) and 5,59K(N). Comes in it´s orig. black Fender tolex case with orange interior.
