1969 Dan Armstrong (Ampeg) Lucite Bass

This is a rare bird! One of the first Dan Amstrong (Ampeg) Lucite Basses ever made – the production started with D101A – this one is D103A first production run June 1969. Only a small number of this instrument have been built from 1969-1971. They choose lucite for extended sustain, this is an early model with low serial number and the chrome-plate above the pickup only early models had. Both pot-codes are dated 69. This bass is in excellent condition and all original and comes in black tolex case.
