1969 Ampeg Dan Armstrong Lucite Guitar in great condition! The serial number A208D indicated its from the fourth batch/third production month August 1969 just after Woodstock! A very early version of this legendary design that only lasted 3 production years! When you see it you immediately think of Keith Richards playing his Dan Armstrong (see footage of Ed Sullivan show 1969). The guitar is all original – there is a small mark fixed with glue on the back and one pickguard screw is missing – otherwise it’s fully original. There is no additional pickup included – only the installed singlecoil. Guitar sounds big… those Lucite bodies really sound way better than you’d think! Case is new.
