1968 Gibson SG Special – Cherry

The is a true rocker! Well worn and heavily played 1968 Gibson SG Special. Typical chunky late 60s neck, of course one piece mahogany without volute, perfect for the SG! The guitar once had humbucker so the pickguard was slightly enlarged and the cavities have been routed just a little bit. There is a hole from a mini-switch and different tuners have been installed.The electronic comes from a 1963 SG, the pots read 134.63.08. Our luthier did a fresh fret-job with Jescar 51100 frets. Otherwise it’s original and crack free! Great SG Special – big tone! Comes incl. original early 70s case.
