1968 Gibson Les Paul Standard - Goldtop

This 1968 Gibson Les Paul Goldtop is in great condition and all original and shows some serious playwear. Previous owner was Stevie D. from the Buckcherry, who used this guitar extensively on the road. Heavy playwear and lots of weatherchecking give that axe lots of mojo, but it sounds unbelievable and can easily compete with any 50s Goldtop we had in our store. It had Grover tuners installed at one time (no additional holes have been drilled), but the original Kluson "double rings" are back on. All 4 pots show 68 dates, two Spraque "black-beauty" caps and all the other features you only find on 68 Pauls, such as 1-piece mahogany-body, 1-piece mahogany neck, small 50s-Style headstock, long neck tenon. Comes in original black Gibson square case with yellow plush and SKB hardshell Buckcherry tour case. Weight: 4,19Kg
