1968 Fender Precision Bass - Sonic Blue (refin.)
1968 Fender Precision Bass - Sonic Blue (refin.) - incl. orig. case!
Beautiful 1968 Fender Precision bass, all original except for a professional refin and in excellent condition for its age. Early version, still has the "Transition - Logo" on the headstock. The refin has been done by Frankfurt-based luthier Matthias Schindehuette including some mild, excellent relicing. As on real sonice blue instruments, the finish has been yellowed and fades into a greenish color. The original neck on this bass is extremely flamed and still bares the original finish. The backside of the PU is pencil-dated 1967, both pots date to 1966! Very comfortable mid-sized neckprofil and it´s light weight makes this bass really fun to play. The bass sound great, the original frets are still in great condition. Comes in its orig. Fender black tolex case with orange lining.
