1967 Fender Jaguar – Sunburst

Late 1967/early 1968 Fender Jaguar we purchased from the original owner who bought it new in 1968 in Frankfurt Germany. This is the binding/block inlay version that was introduced in 1966. The guitar is in original condition besides some service repairs, two slide switches have been renewed in 2004 and a new bridge has been installed since the original bridge was rusty (all original parts and repair invoice come with the guitar). Other than that its original – December 1967 neck and typical 67 neck pocket pattern. The serial would fall in the 1968 range but we’ve seen this range in late 1967 as well. Super nice guitar we brought back to life – it was covered with decades of dust. Comes inc. original case which is the older no-tail logo version – Fender switched to the tail logo in 1967.
