1967 Epiphone Sheraton – Black (refin)

1967 Epiphone Sheraton in Ebony finish. The guitar has been refinished decades ago and already blacklights. It’s checked all over and it just looks cool! The guitar certainly has a huge mojo and feels great as well. Those Epiphone models where made by Gibson and the Sheraton was their most elaborate and fancy semi-hollow body guitar, even more expensive than Gibson´s ES-355 counterpart. Therefore the Sheraton was made in small quantities. The serial number is gone but the pots are dated 66 and 67, the nut width is 41mm and the two original “Patent Number” – mini-humbuckers have outputs of N=6,61K and B=6,65K and sound great. The medium size c-shape neck feels wonderful, the checked lacquer gives it a nice vintage grip and the new big frets make it play really good! The frets are in great shape, low action – buzz-free! Comes in hardshell case.
