1966 Fender Jazz Bass – Blond …rare Custom Color !
1966 Fender Jazz Bass – Blond incl. brown tolex hard shell case
Super clean 1966 Fender Jazz bass in rare custom color "Blond". Not to be mixed up with the more comon color Olympic-White, the Blond finish was used on ash bodys a rather see-thru finish to reveal the nice grain of the ash body wood. We got this bass from the original owner who bought the bass new, the case came with the instrument and seems to be an export version. Everything is all original and in excellent, -near mint condition! Very little play-wear, untouched solderjoints, the pots are from Stackpole stamped 304.66.17 = 17th week of 1966, the neckstamp reads: 7 MAY 66 A. The original frets are still in perfect shape, the bass has a nice weight of only 4,03 Kg, playability is great and the sound is superb! Definately one the nicest and cleanest Jazz basses we´ve had so far, an absoluztely "no questions" instrument, great to play and super investment! Comes in its original Alligator tolex case with marron interior the bass was sold new!
