1965 Gibson Southern Jumbo – Sunburst

Clean 1965 Gibson Southern Jumbo in Sunburst finish in excellent condition. This is still the wide nut width version, shortly afterwards they switched to narrow nuts with Indian Rosewood! Besides two professionally repaired cracks on the top the guitar is pretty & clean. The Cherry Sunburst color looks amazing, the whole appearance of the guitar is really stunning. The Gibson SJ (Southern Jumbo) acoustic guitar is one of Gibsons oldest models since its debut in 1942. They changed from “round-shoulder” to square body shape in the early 60s. This guitar is a perfect example of a Gibson dreadnaught – if you are looking for that typical Stones sounds…this is the one to get! Including aftermarket hard case.
