Super clean 1965 Gibson ES-335 TDC – Cherry with factory Bigsby in excellent condition and all original. This is an early version of a 1965 ES-335 which still features nickel parts and the wide nut. Besides the different dates it’s the same guitar as a 1964 – the Clapton year. We purchased this guitar from the second owner who asked an American GI to bring it over to Germany in the 70s. He took good care of the guitar for sure. There is only minor play-wear and not much weather-checking. Beautiful strong cherry finish, almost no fading but not too bright. Original electronic with untouched solderjoints, all 4 pots are stamped 137.65.xx, both pickups are original Gibson “Pat.Nr.- Decal” pickups with outputs of N=7,30K and B=7,72K. Nice and comfortable to play with great sound! Comes in its original black Gibson case with yellow lining.
