All original and very rare 1965 Gibson EMS-1235 Doubleneck guitar in excellent condition. Doublenecks where built to custom order only and just 3(!) of this model left the factory in 1965. In ´62 Gibson discontinued the hollow thinline bodystyle and started building the EMS-series as a SG-style solidbody guitar. The long neck has a scale length of 625mm, the short neck is a 8 string mandolin and has a scale length of 352mm. All 3 pickups are “Patent Number.” humbucking pickups. Considerable lightweight with only 4,3 Kg, this monster is pretty comfortable to play! Comes in its orig. black Gibson case.
