1965 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst

Great player grade pre-CBS spec Strat! This 1965 small headstock L-series Stratocaster has been through some typical modifications done but one of it’s former owners in the early 70s: Three mini switches and a humbucker routing in the neck. Our luthier carefully filled the routings and the three holes in the original pickguard to bring it back to it’s original condition! The bridge pickup is a Fender Custom Shop pickup and two pots are from 1971, the switch is a 5-way (of course) but all other parts are original 1965. The bridge and middle pickups are dated 1965, as well as one pot and the neck. The finish is the original Sunburst finish and the neck has a big and beefy profile! Great guitar for a great price. Comes in newer case.
