Late 1965 Fender Stratocaster in great condition. It’s got a really nice vibe, nice weather checking and color with nicely darkened clear coat – just right for a great vintage guitar. Perfect feeling neck, nicely worn off finish – just the right grip. Its been used as a lefthand guitar from former owner so there is a hole from a relocated strap pin, it’s got the typical 5-way switch and the middle pickup was dead when we got it (from New York) so it has been rewound by the great Andreas Kloppmann with original wire. We gotta get used to that since they won’t last forever. They brake or corrode over time and a good rewind from a professional technician with correct material is just as good as original – sometimes even better. Original backplate is missing and tremolo arm is new. Other than that it remains in original condition already the big headstock (December 1965 neck), 49th week of 1965 pot codes. Original finish of course and electronics. A great sounding a feeling guitar with big tone! One of the first big headstock Strats – they’re famous amongst players for sounding really fat and powerful. Comes incl. original case.
