1965 Fender Stratocaster – Candy Apple Red

This is a stunning early 1965 Fender Stratocaster in a beautifully aged Candy Apple Red finish! This guitar has been well played, and you can see that it has spent some time in the sun – the top has faded significantly more than the back, giving it a unique and distinctive look. At some point, the neck was oversprayed, but an expert Italian luthier carefully removed the overspray while preserving the original Fender decal. Apart from that and a re-done ground wire on the volume pot, the guitar remains original. We’ve priced it accordingly, giving you the rare opportunity to own a custom-color transitional Stratocaster with L-series features (aside from the 1965 white pickguard) for only slightly more than a standard Sunburst model from the same year! This Strat has an incredible vibe and aesthetic. The neck is on the slimmer side but gradually thickens toward the body, making for a comfortable playing experience. It has been refretted by our luthier with 6105 wire, ensuring smooth playability. Comes with the original case.
