1965 Fender Stratocaster – 3t-Sunburst

1965 Fender Stratocaster – 3t-Sunburst incl. orig. black Fender Tolex case
Clean 1965 Fender Stratocaster in 3-tone Sunburst finish, the guitar is all original and excellent condition for its age, only some minor playwear and no weatherchecking, the original finish hasn´t faded at all and still has a nice vibrant Sunburst, those 1965 Strats are famous for. This is probably one of the earliest “large headstock” Strats, the neckstamp reads 2 DEC 65 B, the three CTS pots are stamped: 137.65.49, dating them to 49th week of 1965 and the three “grey bottom” singlecoil pickups have strong outputs of: Neck = 6,26K, Middle = 5,98K and Bridge = 6,33K. There where Schallers mounted at one time, the original Kluson “Double-line” are back one, fortunately the tuner-hole has never been enlarged! The original frets are still in great shape, the neck has a medium-C profile and its light weight of only 3,48 Kg makes this guitar real comfortable to play. Incl. orig. black Fender Tolex case with orange interior.
