1964 Höfner 500/1 “Beatles Bass” – Sunburst incl. black hardshell case.
Original 1964 Höfner 500/1 Beatles- or Violin bass. This is the last production year for the Beatles bass featuring the small pick-up frames, similar to the 1963 bass Sir Paul Mc Cartney played with the Beatles. The bass is in excellent condition for its age with some minor playwear, there are two little, filled holes next to the control-cavity, …came like this!  Both orig. Höfner “Staple” – pickups sound great, the tuners work fine, straight neck, trussrod works well and the action is great. Due to its extreme lightweight this bass is very nice and comfortable to play. Comes in incl. black hardshell case with green lining.
