1964 Gibson Firebird III – Sunburst

Nice 1964 Gibson Firebird III in great condition. First of all: the guitar has no breaks – no neck or heel brakes at all – like most of vintage Firebirds have due to their construction. The finish is original and looks super nice. It has a routing under the pickguard, there may have been some switches installed, pickguard is a newer replacement, one pot has been changed and the bridge pickup is a hot Seymour Duncan. The tremolo arm is also a newer or at leats different chrome version and the bridge is a compensated Mojoaxe. Relocated strap pin (good choice actually) and doweled holes form relocated studs. Guitar has new jumbo frets! Other than that its original – sounds like a lot but in the end most of the stuff is not visible and this guitar is crack free. And it’s a really nice guitar that sounds exceptionally good! We love it! It comes including it’s original case.
