1964 Fender Jaguar - Olympic White Gold Hardware

This early/mid 1964 Fender Jaguar is a super rare custom color guitar with factory gold hardware! The guitar had... well let's say a period of serious humidity/moisture which caused the lacquer flaking off, especially on the back. The rare gold hardware also oxidized as you can see on the pictures. However, this would easily be a 25K guitar in better condition. The bridge is a newer replacement although it comes with original gold saddles and the tremolo arm is a new chrome one. The neck pick has been rewound by our friends at Kloppmann Electrics in Germany. One switch has been changed. Everything else is original, which is actually great considering the humidity. In the end it is a pretty cool and crazy rare guitar that survived with some scars. The lacquer on the body yellowed heavily but the headstock remains white - however, it's the original neck of that guitar for sure. Comes incl. original brown case.
